Bella Roma Nerja

Hello everyone . Went out for a meal on Saturday night, forgot that most of the resturantes were closed until the middle of December . We eventually found Bella Roma, which is situated behind the Sol bank, anyone who knows the area will know that there is lots of resturantes in that area but the Bella Roma was the only one open.

Inside the Bella Roma you will notice that it is it is tastefully decorated. When we arrived it was busy on Saturday but the sevice was still excellent. Soon as we sat down the waitress, who was cheerful and pleasant, came over to take our order. My wife and I decided to have the Minestrone soup for starters, if you are used to Minestrone soup from a supermarket then you will be surprised, first of all you notice that it is not red and secondly it is thick with vegtables (superb)

For the main course my wife had Pesto Genovese which she informed me was the best that she had tried, I had Lasagna which was really tasty.

For the 2 meals it was only 32 euros which I thought was great value for money with professional and cheery staff.

Well worth a vist, let me know what you think.

Bye for now.

Agree. We visited in the high season.

Genuine italian kitchen with hundreds of dishes. Very good value! Good selection of hand picked wines. Be early if you want to sit outside (before 8.30 pm in summer), or be prepared to wait 10-15 minutes. We went there many times at our stay in Nerja. We tried one of the competing neighbouring italian restaurants, and their food seems to be cooked in the microwave. At Bella Roma all dishes are served hot at the same time for the whole table. Friendly staff, but it's a bit hectic at times, just as you'd expect at a small excellent restaurant as this.
